Rich Van Pelt
is a forty-year veteran of youth and family ministry who communicates with
warmth and passion to students, educators, professional counselors, youth
workers and parents. He is recognized
internationally for his expertise in the area of responding to kids in crisis.
He is the author of five books (Intensive Care, The Youth
Worker’s/Parent’s/Volunteer’s Guide to Helping Teenagers in Crisis series, and
the forthcoming Teenager’s Guide to Helping Friends in Crisis). Rich travels
the world advocating for poor children and families as Senior Director of
Ministry Relationships and Partner Development with Compassion International.
