Every organization needs people to make it go, and these are the folks behind the scenes that make it all happen at Inspiration Point.

Greg Anderson
Executive Director
Greg has served as director of Inspiration Point since 1990. His responsibilities are in the areas of personnel development, strategic planning, development, and spiritual oversight of the camp ministry.
Greg currently serves as Past Chair on the Christian Camp and Conference Association Board of Directors . A graduate of Concordia College in Moorhead, MN (B.A. German Education and Business Administration), Greg speaks around the country at churches, camps, and conferences on the topics of leadership and ministry to children, youth, and families.
He and his wife, Janet, live in Fergus Falls, MN with their daughters Elise and Kara. In addition to camp ministry, Greg also enjoys waterfowling and upland hunting, reading, music, travel, cheering on his family, conversations over a good cup of coffee, and watching baseball. His dream vacation would be to spend a summer traveling around the states to watch a major league baseball game in every stadium.

Janet Anderson
Program Director
Since September of 1990, Janet has served as the Program Director at Inspiration Point. This position involves planning, preparing, and implementing the events for summer camps as well as youth and adult retreats. She also manages the gift shop at Inspiration Point. Janet loves partnering in ministry with high school and college students who are fired up to serve the Lord! She also enjoys watching God bring His people one step closer to Jesus through their camp experiences at The Point!
Janet loves leading music, giving the gift of God’s Word to campers and showing them how to use it, getting to know the many guests who come away to The Point, and sharing her life.
Family is also a huge part Janet’s of life. She will tell you that her husband, Greg, and daughters, Elise and Kara are all incredible gifts from God. They live in Fergus Falls, MN.

Kristin Christenson
Executive Assistant/Guest Ministries Director
Kristin Christenson joined the year-round staff of Inspiration Point in October of 2006 as the Office Manager, before moving into the role of Executive Assistant and Director of Guest Ministries. After serving at The Point as a summer counselor in 2003 and 2004, she left the Midwest to work in Washington, D.C. for Iowa Congressman Jim Leach. She couldn't stay away for too long, however, and now her hope of being able to work at camp full-time has arrived. She attended the University of Iowa and majored in Political Science and Communications, where she was active with political causes on campus.
Kristin is a native Iowan, and a proud Iowa Hawkeye fan. She can be found most Saturdays in the fall cheering on her beloved team. When she's not rooting for the Hawks, Kristin enjoys cooking, scrapbooking, working with the high school youth at her church and playing board games with friends. She and her husband, Josh, live in Fergus Falls. Kristin’s favorite thing about her job is being a part of something that has an eternal impact.

Seth Kinrade
Marketing & Administration Manager
Seth joined the year-round staff in September 2010 as the Marketing and Administration Manager. His responsibilities are in the areas of administration, marketing and promotions, communications, and sales. Before joining the year-round staff, Seth served on summer staff for five years: two years on services corps/counseling, two years as waterfront supervisor and one summer as a program assistant.
Seth grew up in DeWitt, Iowa and graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls. Seth has a degree in Leisure, Youth and Human Services with an emphasis in Youth Services and Non-profit Administration. Seth and his wife, Sarah, live in Fergus Falls, MN.

Cindy Rogness
Assistant Program Director/Day Camp Coordinator
Cindy Rogness joined the year-round staff as the Assistant Program Director in August 2011. Cindy and her husband Tony came to us from Astoria, SD after spending 7 years as a high school teacher, coach, and volleyball official. Prior to teaching, Cindy spent 10 years at home with their 3 children Joanna, Micah, & Allison.
Cindy grew up on a dairy farm in Greenbush, MN, and graduated from Association Free Lutheran Bible School and Crown College. She received her BA in K-12 Physical Education/Health Education. She loves supporting/encouraging her children in their activities, family time, reading, gardening, & quilting; most of all, she loves to engage in good conversation.
For over 15 years, Cindy and her husband were volunteer youth leaders at Blom Prairie Lutheran Brethren Church. She is looking forward to continuing her work with young adults here at The Point. Cindy loves to see God working in the hearts of His people drawing them closer to Him and growing them in their faith.

Tony Rogness
Operations Director
As Operations Director, Tony’s responsibilities include the management of site and facilities as well as the oversight of the maintenance and food service staff. He also carries primary responsibility for the development and administration of the CheckPoint program. Tony joined the year-round staff at The Point in August 2011. He is excited to be at Inspiration Point where his love for teaching, connecting with people and the outdoors can all be used for the Lord in ministry.
Tony grew up on a dairy farm in eastern South Dakota and enjoys staying connected to his “farm boy” roots. He graduated from Lutheran Brethren Bible College in 1983 and received his bachelor’s degree in History/Secondary Education from Crown College in 1990. He spent the next 21 years as a teacher in Minnesota and South Dakota. He holds advanced degrees from South Dakota State University and the University of South Dakota. He spent 12 years of his teaching career as professor of Teacher Education at SDSU.
Tony and his wife Cindy have three children, Joanna, Micah and Allison, and his free time is often spent with them. He is an avid sports fan and has had the opportunity to coach and officiate football, basketball, baseball and softball. His favorite sport is whichever one his kids are involved in at the time.

Lindsey Thomas
Food Service Director
Lindsey
Thomas joined the Inspiration Point staff in August of 2012. As the food service director, she will be overseeing the preparation of all meals served at camp.
Before coming to Inspiration Point, Lindsey worked at Agape Boarding School as kitchen
manager, and also on the culinary staff at the Keeter Center in Branson, MO.
Lindsey
was raised in Stockton, MO and attended the College of the Ozarks in Branson,
MO. There she received her bachelor’s degree in culinary arts. Lindsey loves
cooking for others and hopes that through the table, community is formed.
In
her free time, Lindsey enjoys sewing, reading, gardening, and watching sci-fi.
She also likes to experiment new recipes on unsuspecting house guests.

Val Walvatne
Office Manager
Val joined the Inspiration Point team in January 2011 as
Office Manager & Registrar. Val and her husband, Doug, live in Fergus
Falls and have 3 grown children, Kari (married to Jacob Stroud), Jonny &
Kathryn and two beautiful granddaughters, London and Audrey.
In addition to spending time with her family, Val enjoys
going for walks, listening to music, baking, flower gardening &
camping. Val grew up going to Inspiration Point and is thankful her own
children have had the opportunity to attend.
