IPoint Equips Review
Equipping Those Who Invest in Others
Over 200 youth workers, pastors, teachers and parents were in attendance for our fall IPoint Equips retreat with Dr. Walt Mueller. IPoint Equips, a new event at Inspiration Point, was designed to equip those who invest in the lives of others with tools and resources to understand the changing culture and how to share the Gospel. Dr. Mueller, the President and founder of The Center for Parent/Youth Understanding, presented on technology’s impact on young people and youth culture. Here is what some of our guests said about the weekend:
“It helped me SO much in understanding my son and why he acts the way he does. When he [Walt] talked about ‘thinking with our kids so we can release them to think for themselves’ was huge for me…Thank you so much!”
“I have a renewed spirit for youth ministry and a direction for where to go. Even though I’m only 4 years out of high school, it still takes intentional open eyes to know a generation that is already different from mine.”
“It was so valuable to have conversations with others about what has been taught and how to apply it. It was a good reminder to hear that listening to students to understand them is so important!”
“Walt Mueller brought up to date, theologically sound information that fills a current need in our world today – keep it up!”
“The most valuable part of IPoint Equips was having an honest look at the impact of our culture on our kids and how God’s Word can help us to lead them. Fantastic weekend! Top notch speaker!”
