The Benefits of a Retreat
For over half a century now, Inspiration Point has been a place to get away. It’s a place to unplug from the routine of daily life and enjoy time with family and friends. While it’s difficult to quantify the value of a retreat, we would like you to consider a few reasons why holding a retreat at Inspiration Point may be of immeasurable value to you and your group:
Whether you come for a family reunion, staff retreat, ladies getaway, or youth event, going on a retreat brings a sense of community to your group. Spending time together around a campfire, sharing meals, and taking part in a wide variety of recreation opportunities are all things that bring people together with a sense of unity. At Inspiration Point, you have the chance to engage in a variety of activities that are designed to be fun and bring people together. Whether you have energy to burn and want to make a splash on the waterfront in the summer or cruise down the tubing hill in the winter, or would rather enjoy a more relaxed weekend reading by the lake or cozy up to a warm fire place, there are many options to choose from as you look to make memories with your group.
Our mission is to create an environment where God can meet individual needs. For us, that means doing our best to remove distractions. We work hard to provide you with clean accommodations, cultivate beautiful grounds and facilities, and serve delicious meals prepared by a professional chef, all in an effort to keep those things off your mind so that you can focus on the things that are truly important in life. Our staff is trained to serve you beyond your expectations so that your time at Inspiration Point can be exactly whatever you need it to be.
Gain a Fresh Perspective
Perhaps the most beneficial part of a retreat is relaxation and the renewal that occurs. Coming away to Inspiration Point for a weekend gives you a chance to step back and examine your priorities. Whether you come as a family, staff, or church group, the reflection that occurs in your time away can allow you to see new perspectives in your walk with Jesus, and give you direction for the future.
We are currently booking groups for spring of 2015 and beyond. To find out more about availability and pricing, send us an email or call our office at 218-998-4572.

“CheckPoint is an incredible opportunity to learn what it means to lead and grow in ministry. CheckPoint pushed me to become uncomfortable which allowed me to understand myself better and to see how God wants to use me.”
