L4: Listen, Learn, Love and Lead
L4: Listen, Learn, Love and Lead (formerly known as CIT: Counselor In Training). These two weeks will serve as a valuable training course in developing students who desire to lead and serve. The first week is all about learning the ins and outs of camp and developing leadership skills. The second week will give students the opportunity to put it all into practice as an assistant cabin leader. If you love Jesus, and have a desire to grow as a leader...you won't regret joining us for this unforgettable experience at IPoint.
HOW IT WORKS:
Because L4 campers have the responsibility (shared with a Cabin Leader) for the well-being of campers, there is an application and approval process before a camper is admitted as an L4 participant. The application and acceptance process is similar to our summer staff hiring process. Applications will be reviewed by IPoint leadership staff once the application is submitted by the applicant AND all of the references have been submitted. It is the responsibility of the applicant to reach out to his/her references and ask them to complete the reference forms which will come by email. Please encourage references to check their junk and promotions boxes as they sometimes land there. Feel free to contact the camp office to check on reference completion.
Once you have been notified of your acceptance into the L4 camp, a $75 deposit will be required within two weeks in order to hold your spot. The final balance for L4 is due two weeks prior to the start of your training week. If you have any questions as you are completing your application, please email info@ipoint.org.
