The 10,000 Reasons Campaign is a response to what God has done in the lives of countless people over the years at Inspiration Point. We have so many reasons – at least 10,000 – to be grateful for God's faithfulness.

The Current Situation

Recreation options are not as robust as needed, and meeting spaces are lacking.
Camps continue to fill, which means that not everyone who desires to attend camp is able.

 The Plan

Highlights of this $5.9 million capital campaign include:

  • adding a large swimming pool with a splashpad and waterslide,
  • eliminating long-term debt,
  • building at least five more cabins, each with restrooms and showers,
  • constructing a multi-purpose building for indoor recreation and a gameroom,
  • expanding outdoor recreation options to include miniature golf, a winter recreation hub, an expanded pedal kart path, and a walking path, and
  • building an addition on the dining room so that every camper and guest has a place to eat indoors. This also provides meeting room space in non-summer months when attendance is typically lower.

The Opportunity

To make this plan a reality, it will take hundreds and hundreds of people being as generous as possible. Here are ways to join in!

  • Thank God for how your life has been blessed. Ask God how you might use your resources to support the ministry at and through Inspiration Point.
  • Consider making a multi-year pledge or one-time gift.
  • Consider volunteering so that ministry dollars are stretched as far as possible.
  • Consider how Inspiration Point might fit into planning for your estate distribution someday.

The Result

More lives will be impacted by the Gospel. Camp will be able to welcome 500 more youth campers and 40 more families every summer, and hundreds more campers and guests throughout the year for retreats. More people will be drawn to attend Inspiration Point, and Inspiration Point will be better equipped to minister to mind, soul, and body.

The far-reaching ministry of Inspiration Point would not be possible without the generosity of donors since IPoint doesn't charge its campers and guests extra to fund capital improvements. From its early years, people have been as generous as possible in order to move the vital ministry of camp forward.
