Explorer 3 - Tuesday Update
What has Tuesday been like at Explorer 3? Let us tell you... it has truly been A BLAST!
This morning, campers gathered for our daily worship service called "Koinonia" (which means "fellowship"). Our theme for the day is "THE DIRECTOR," so we have been focusing on learning more about the Director for our lives - God Himself. Our Koinonia message focused on 3 ways that God has revealed Himself to us, showing us who He is - through creation, through Jesus, and through the Bible. After Koinonia, campers dispersed throughout a designated space for their Time Alone With God. Cabin Leaders have been faithfully guiding students all week in how to use their Bibles, how to look up Scripture verses, and how to soak in time spent with their Heavenly Father!
As the cabins moved to Bible Study time, our L4 leaders had the opportunity to lead today! These leaders studied and prepared to teach our Tuesday Bible Study and did a FANTASTIC job! They led our 3rd-5th grade campers through a study of God's attributes. The Scriptures tell us that God is holy, loving, powerful, all-knowing, all-present, forgiving, merciful and so much more.
This afternoon, the free time activities have been a HIT! Campers are thoroughly enjoying the new pool and splash pad, the gift shop, the game room, the daily crafts, and all of the recreation options. We are grateful for another WONDERFUL day at IPoint!
