Our Kickoff To Trailblazer 2!

It's hard to put into words the PURE DELIGHT that our first hours with Trailblazer 2 have been!

These 1st & 2nd graders are loving their time at camp so far. As they arrived yesterday afternoon, they were brought RIGHT into the fun. They moved into their cabins, picked out their bunks, and met several of our staff. Once registration finished up, we kicked off the week with our opening skit, a t-shirt giveaway & the announcement of each cabin group. During our Trailblazer week, each group of campers has TWO cabin leaders caring for them.

After meeting their cabinmates & cabin leaders, each group took off to experience "Whirlwind." Every cabin got to build their own pizza for supper & spend a quick time slot at the splash pad! That was a DEFINITE highlight all around! We took a large group photo and headed off to "Hootenanny," a Sunday night IPoint tradition. As we gathered in the White Oak Room, every cabin got to share their cabin song on the stage. Smiles were contagious & non-stop throughout this entire event!

To close out the evening, a campfire was in order! We sang songs of worship and encouraged campers to keep their eyes open for what God wants to teach them while they are here.

We could not be more grateful for the 138 Trailblazers with us this week. As we teach them about Jesus, THEY are also teaching US so much!
