Pathfinder Camp Update
On Sunday evening, we welcomed almost 50 Pathfinder campers to Twin Oaks. This camp experience is designed to serve adults with special needs and it is a highlight of our entire year at IPoint. Many of these campers have been to camp several times, while there are also a few new friends. Registration on Sunday evening felt like an extended family reuniting after being apart for a year! The laughter, smiles and hugs were endless.
On Sunday evening, we had a brief opening to introduce our theme. This opening chapel was followed by a snack, group photo and campfire. Though the evening was short, the campers ended the day THRILLED about what the week was going to hold!
Monday was filled with all sorts of activities - swimming, visiting the gift shop, playing carpetball, gathering for Bible Study, trying out the new waterslide, singing, riding the wagon, going down the zipline...
When Pathfinders is at camp, there is no shortage of joy. These friends teach US what it means to have joy despite difficult circumstances. Many of them have such a pure and beautiful understanding of the Gospel & it is an honor to serve them for a few days here at IPoint!
