Navigator 3 & Senior High 1 - They’re Here!

There was a bright and joyful spirit as Inspiration Point flooded with 279 campers yesterday! We had the privilege of welcoming around 85 middle school students and around 190 high school students to this place and they have certainly brought the fun & energy!

Running programs for two ages this week means that many of the activities will be separate, while, of course, campers will all see each other in the Dining Room and a few other times throughout the day.  Cabin groups are organized by ages, ensuring that students can make friends with those who are in their same stage of life.  We are praying this week, however, that the high school students would set an example for the middle schoolers, so that the younger students might have extra excitement to follow Jesus as they move into high school!

All campers were welcomed at our grand opening yesterday - a skit was performed, a few t-shirts were given away, and each camper met their cabin leader and cabinmates.  Cabin groups spent time getting to know one another and setting up the week.  Both camps participated in Hootenanny - our weekly cabin song contest - and ended the evening with campfire, though the Senior Highers ended up inside as rain showers passed through.

We are grateful for Josiah Militzer & Kirk Militzer who will be speaking and sharing the Word of God with students all week.  Pray with us that God would move in each heart & that students would leave on Thursday with a deeper understanding of Christ's love for them!
