Pathfinder Camp Update - Sunday + Monday

Since last night, we haven't stopped smiling because 50 dear friends arrived at camp for Pathfinders! This particular week is specially designed for adults with phyiscal, developmental, or learning disabilities. These campers bring an indescribable amount of joy to IPoint - as they sing praises to the Lord, make friends, participate in all sorts of activities, open their Bibles together, and do it all with such a spirit of gratitude and gladness!
To kick off our week together, Pathfinder campers enjoyed our opening skit, learning their very first theme verse, and singing songs at an indoor "campfire," due to some rain. This morning, our friends had a tasty breakfast, followed by their first chapel time. We dove into the theme, "REJOICE IN THE PROMISE KEEPER," as we discussed how God keeps every promise He has made. We learned Psalm 145:13 together, which says, "The Lord is faithful to His promises and loving toward all He has made." Chapel was followed by Bible Study, which is always a blessing. To finish out the morning, our campers were split up into some groups to enjoy different activities - the zipline, a wagon ride, or some relaxing time in the Game Room.
Pray with us that these campers will grow in their understanding of what it means to REJOICE in the LORD! Pray that they will know the love of God and be deeply impacted by the Gospel. Stay tuned for more updates & find a bunch of sweet photos below!
