Explorer 2, Navigator 2, L4 1 & 2 - Sunday Recap

We had the privilege of greeting three new camps yesterday! We brought in Explorer 2, Navigator 2, and L42 for the next week and are looking forward to beautiful summer days ahead. These campers started the week with "whirlwind," which is the time that they get to know their cabinmates, cabin leaders, and become acquainted with the culture of camp! After our whole camp pictures were taken, Janet prepared the campers for a week of encouragement, kindness, and building each other up as God created them all valuable. This sets up the kids for the week to have fun, make memories, and learn a whole lot!

There will be tons of excitement this week in experiencing theme dinner, Christ Hike, Gaslamp Theater, and many more eventful moments. Each part of the day at camp is purposeful, created to point the campers to friendship with each other, and especially with God! This week the Navigators will be under the teaching of Josiah Militzer as he tells them all about our marvelous King. Our Explorers will open God's Word under the leadership of our Program Team members. Through it all, our prayer is that these kids would learn about the Good News of Jesus Christ! The campers are becoming comfortable being at camp, so please pray for them as they participate in many more activities, make new friends, and spend time with God!
